About

E-QIP’s IDEAS e-learning course is an adaptation of the original IDEAS program developed in partnership between Health Quality Ontario (now part of Ontario Health), the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES) and the Institute of Health Policy Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto for the community mental health and addiction (MHA) sector.  This course is completely asynchronous (self-guided) and uses a variety of learning tools and techniques including an MHA-based case study, videos, learning activities and knowledge checks to reinforce key concepts. Learners are encouraged to reflect and document their learnings throughout the course in their course workbook. This course will take approximately 8-12 hours to complete.
